  We are used to this pharmacy closing at lunch time on Saturdays but did not expect to find it closed completely for the whole 3 days of Australia day weekend until I called Saturday morning for a much needed prescription. I also needed another product which needed to be taken prior to a medical procedure I was having that day in Launceston. No notification of an alternative pharmacy for the residents of Sheffield was offered in an emergency and I noticed several other people had turned up expecting service. Ultimately, and at great inconvenience I had to travel to Terry White in Devonport to obtain the products I needed. This pharmacy was open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. that day and in addition my prescription items were $1.00 each cheaper. Iocal residents give great support to their local pharmacy but I felt that as an important health care provider they let down their customers by providing no service for three whole days. I have to shop in Devonport occasionally and will now plan my needs so that I can show my appreciation for great service by supporting Terry White in future.
