Sharon and Chris are great hosts; we arrived to a toasty warm cottage, fire burning, heater on, homemade cake, farm eggs, juice, bread, cereals. Sharon took me to meet and hand feed the animals in the morning, thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage is well appointed, clean and very relaxing.

- SJ C Added November 13, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★An amazing cute place to stay! The cottage has been wonderfully restored and makes for a delightful weekend away in the Tasmanian countryside. We arrived to find scones, jam and cream left out for us, as well as food for all the animals. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. It was lovely to wander around and say hello to all the animals. I can't recommend it highly enough for a cute weekend away.

The cosy cottage felt like a home away from home. Alisha (our daughter) especially enjoyed the animals and feeding them (animal food provided). It has more than beautiful views. And is a great place to explore from. The hospitality is thoughtful and friendly! Thank you Sharon, Chris and Lucy from the McLennan family!
- Carole Richard Added June 26, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★A great place to stay and relax in tassie's backcountry. Sharon gave us a tour of the farm and left scones, jams, eggs and more in the cottage. I recommend staying there if you like farm animals, if you have kids, or simply if you come from another country where traditional cottages like this don't exist!
